Maya Pierce was raised just outside New York City, and is reluctant to call herself a "Native Long Islander". She devoted herself to Martial Arts in White Tiger Kempo Karate for ten years and currently holds a second degree black belt. In addition to her theater activities in college, she enjoyed her anthropology and comparative literature classes. Maya also had the opportunity to travel to Greece and Denmark in the past few years. Despite these achievements, she drives a two-door car Hyundai with manual windows.
